The Utah Arts Council Design Arts Program held its fifth annual exhibition DesignArts Utah ’07. The exhibit is hosted annually at the Rio Gallery in the Rio Grande train depot in Salt Lake City. Designers living in Utah and working in any design field were encouraged to submit an application and documentation of their work to be reviewed by this year’s influential juror, Tucker Viemeister. Past design exhibitions have featured the work of architects, landscape architects, industrial designers, furniture, fashion, commuter jets, automobiles, stage set design, mobility designs for physically challenged, books, graphic design, textiles, environmental, etc.

Unfortunately, Rocketship’s submission missed the boat! We turned it in on time, but somehow didn’t make it into the judging. Life happens…

In any case, here are a few images of the products we submitted. Compare them with those that were selected for exhibit and judge for your self.
